Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments promoting English medium education: Experts

While many have welcomed the MHRD move to introduce JEE in 11 regional languages, including Telugu, coaching centres feel that this may have very little impact in Telangana and AP. This, they say, is because governments in both Telugu states are trying to promote English-medium education at the school-level.

There are few books published by Telugu Akademi which have objective questions. However, in comparison to books published by private publishers in English, there are not enough resources available in Telugu. This may emerge as a major challenge for students willing to appear for the JEE (Mains) in Telugu.
